S/627 George III Mahogany Table Top Miniature Chest of Drawers

The top, decorated with fan quadrants and a central patera of burnished boxwood and sycamore, has banding of satinwood and tulipwood, which is outlined with ebony and boxwood stringing. To the front are four graduated drawers fitted with original brass knob handles and outlined with further boxwood and ebony stringing with a central boxwood oval inlay to each drawer.

The whole, raised on bracket feet, is in good condition, a most attractive design and retains a patination.
