S/654 Late Victorian Oak and Silver Plate Mounted Tea Caddy

The hinged lid, with canted edges and silver plate mounts has a plated swing handle and opens to reveal two lidded and lined compartments with a conforming plate knob handle to each lid.

The whole, with further plate mounts to all sides, is fitted with a lock and key and is a light oak honey colour, in good condition and most attractive in design.
