S/666 George III Mahogany Stick Barometer
The case, in Cuban mahogany, has a moulded edge with a classical pediment and brass finial above two engraved silvered register plates inscribed: H. BRADLEY, ROTHERHAM.
The mercurial table, with a sliding gauge, is visible at the top and then is situated behind the lower plate to the cistern at the base, with a full length thermometer to the front.
The whole, with a good patination, is in full working condition.
(The thermometer and cistern cover have been replaced at a later date.)
