S/672 Late Regency Mahogany Corner Cupboard

The stepped and moulded cornice, and holly banded and boxwood strung frieze, is above a full length door, which is glazed and has holly banded and boxwood strung astragal divides. The lower part of the door has a recessed panel decorated with conforming holly banding and boxwood stringing. The returns to each side and the base moulding are reeded, which was fashionable during the Regency period.

The interior comprises of two shelves and the base shelf, painted in dark green in the traditional manner.

The whole, fitted with a lock and key, retains a patination, is a lovely colour and is in good condition.
