S/1899 Victorian Mahogany Pedestal Desk

The rectangular removable top has a green hide writing area with a decorative gilded border, within a two inch mahogany surround with a moulded edge, which is above three solid mahogany lined drawers.

Each pedestal has three graduated drawers, fitted with brass ring handles and inset brass escutcheons, being seated on a moulded and plinth base with castors under.

The whole, fitted with brass locks and key, has a plain polished back and is in good condition.
