S/688 Late Regency Mahogany Tea Caddy

The stepped top, decorated with a beaded edge and outlined with ebony stringing, opens to reveal two compartments each fitted with a mahogany lid with an ivory knob handle. To the base is a conforming beaded edge and to each side is a brass lion head ring handle.

The whole, fitted with a lock and key is raised on four squat bun feet and is in good condition retaining a patination.
