S/1007 19th Century Yew Wood Windsor Armchair in the design of a North East Midlands/Lincolnshire model 1790-1840

The pierced central splat has rows of spindles to either side, with the arms raised on crook shaped underarm supports to the front. The elm seat is supported on turned legs united by a crinoline stretcher and unusually a further stretcher uniting the back legs.

The whole is of an attractive colour, retains a patination and is in good condition.
