The rectangular plate, within a crossbanded frame and outlined in holly stringing, is hung between two ring turned tapered supports with turned beehive finials and original brass knob adjustable side screws. The well figured double serpentine base , outlined in holly stringing, has two conforming mahogany lined drawers retaining their original brass flowerhead lion head knob handles , being either side of a central panel decorated and inlaid with a design in cut brass.

The whole, with a ring turned and tapered column to each side of the two drawers, which terminate in tapered feet, is of a fine tawny colour, in good condition and retains a patination.
