S/1164 19th Century Fruitwood Quaich

A fine small 19th century pole-lathed turned fruitwood quaich, with a silver base plate inscribed: 'The Duchess of Athole to her nephew Baron Poellinitz Dunkeld 1840'. The whole has a lovely rich colour and retains a patination.
