S/1157 Early 19th Century Yew Wood Windsor Armchair

A Low Thames Valley Hoop Back Windsor Armchair in yew wood with an elm seat and having an H stretcher. The whole has a lovely colour and retains a patination.

Attributed to Robert Prior (fl: 1816-1845). See 'The English Regional Chair' by D. Cotton Figure T.V. 151 on page 78.
