S/1184 A Pair of 19th Century Burr Ash Dresser Stools

A rare pair of burr ash miniature stools, with well turned splayed legs. The solid tops have four concave sides with small concave corners. The whole are in fine condition, a lovely rich colour and retain a patination.

These stools were produced by chair makers for their own use. Their purpose was to stand on a dresser or sideboard for display purposes.
