S/1544 18th Century Oak Bible Box

A good mid 18th century Welsh oak bible box initialled I.G. and dated 1755. The lid and front, with punched flower head decoration and with original strap hinges, hasp, lock, plate and key, has a wonderful rich colour and a fine patination.
