S/1569 Norwegian Burr Birch Peg Tankard

A good burr birch peg tankard, having a domed hinged lid with a flower head motif. The scroll handle has wheat ear decoration and the three feet are similarly decorated. The base has a raised central flower head underneath. The tankard has a lovely honey colour and a fine patination.
