S/1580 George III Mahogany Bowfronted Chest of Drawers

A fine quality George III mahogany bowfronted chest of drawers having small proportions and of the Sheraton period. The well grained top has a wide crossbanded border and narrow crossbanding in tulipwood, each divided by lines of boxwood stringing.

The oak lined drawers have their original brass handles, with the whole raised on swept French feet with a dipped apron ot the front and sides, and is in fine condition and has a lovely colour and patination throughout.
