S/1782 19th Century Walnut Love Token

A rare and unusual carved walnut love token in the form of an ink well made of glazed pottery and set in a solid heart shaped surround, with a further heart shaped recess supported by a swan either side symbolising fidelity and unity of life. The whole in in good condition with historic crusty patinationj.
