S/1840 19th Century Sycamore Butter Stamp

An unusual chamfered rectangular sycamore butter stamp, having carved capital letters reading 'EASTPOOL', presumably being the name of the farm, and having a raised turned handle to the reverse. The whole has a pleasing light honey colour and retains a patination.
