S/1846 19th Century Figured Walnut String Barrel

A fine quality figured walnut brass bound string barrel, with foliate brass decoration to the top and protruding base. The four brass bands are engraved with floral decoration with a small brass protruding tap that has a cutter to the top edge. The whole has a lovely rich colour and patination.
