S/1912 17th Century Jonined Oak Backstool
A late 17th century joined oak backstool, having a shaped cresting rail with a chamfered panel below, that is above a boarded seat with protruding dowels to the underside. The whole is raised on turned front legs united by a turned stretcher. The back legs are square and all are united with rectangular stretchers. The backstool is in original condition and has a good rich colour and patination.
