S/1817 Georgian Oak and fruitwood Turner's Armchair

An interesting oak and fruitwood turner's armchair, having a pine seat and a bar back with four turned spindles and the arms supported by three on each side. The pine seat is raised on square tapered legs to the back and front united by turned stretchers of a similar design. The whole has a pleasant honey colour and retains a patination.
