S/1595 17th Century Oak Plank Coffer

A small 17th century oak plank coffer, having a lid with incised line decoration to the front and back and original staple iron hinges, which opens to reveal a lidded comapartment to the left side. The ends have attractive Gothic design bifurcated legs and the whole has a good rich colour and retains a patination.
