S/2021 Antique Treen 19th Century Burr Wood and Pen Work Table Snuff Box

A fine Scottish burr wood and pen work hinged table snuff box, depicting a tavern interior with three men sitting at a table, with a dog asleep on the floor. At the base there is a hand holding a pair of scissors by a roll of cloth, below that it is indistinctly signed Will? The burr wood base is a lovely rich dark colour and has a fine patination.
