S/2059 Antique Treen 19th Century Yew Wood Snuff Shoe

An extremely finely carved yew wood snuff shoe, having a protruding heal, buckle and pointed toe, profusely carved in relief with leaves, branches and a single flower head above the toe. The removable lid has a carved crown above a double headed eagle. The whole is in fine condition, of a lovely rich colour and wonderful patination, a serious collector's item.
