S/2078 Good Quality William IV Channel Isles Amboyna Card Table

The hinged top swivels and opens to reveal a green baize lined interior, with an amboyna edge, and has a mahogany lined compartment under for cards and games.

The whole is raised on a tapered square support that has a flange to its base, which is supported by a four sided concave platform base with bun feet and castors. To the underside of the base are four rods, which were used in the Channel Isles in furniture. The table retains a patination, is a most attractive colour and is in good condition.
