S/2142 Antique Treen 19th Century Pine Coggie

An attractive Scottish pine coggie, which has the unusual feature of having two lugs, with pierced hearts, rather than one. The pine body is bound in willow and the interior is inlaid with hearts and diamonds, with an oval mahogany inset to the centre. The whole has a pale honey colour and retains a patination.
