S/2166 Antique Treen 19th Century Fruitwood Snuff Shoe

An interesting Dutch fruitwood snuff shoe, having inlaid heart decoration. The lid swivels and is locked in position by a sliding action with a small catch to the front of the toe. The whole has a good rich colour and patination.
