S/2249 Antique Treen 19th Century Lignum Vitae Go to Bed

A lovely lignum vitae go to bed, having a hollow bone finial for the match. The top is separated from the base with twin match strikers, which are adjustable, and unscrews to contain an area for the matches in the base. The go to bed is made of heart and sap wood, giving a contrasting colour, and is in good condition retaining a patination.
