S/2333 Antique Treen 19th Century Figurative Yew Wood Nutcracker
An extremely well carved figurative yew wood nut cracker, having a well detailed carved head of a man with a pointed cap. To the reverse is an aperture for the nut. The hexagonal tapered handle has a wood screw thread which is used to crack the nut. The whole has a lovely colour and patination.
