S/2349 Antique 19th Century Oak Lap Desk

A good quality and well made oak lap desk of most pleasing proportions, having a vacant interior, which is original. Occasionally these lap desks have a tier of small drawers inside. The iron hinges are original, however the brass lock is of a later date. The whole has a lovely grain, colour and excellent patination.
