S/2368 Antique Treen 19th Century Fruitwood Paper Knife

An extremely well carved fruitwood paper knife, having a handle depicting a kneeling male figure with a turban, beard, jacket, lined trousers and his hands resting on his legs. He is on a decorative tapered column with the shaped double edged knife below. The whole has a rich honey colour and patination.
