S/2346 A Goood Quality Regency Mahogany Sewing Table

A good quality mahogany Regency Period sewing table, having a shaped octagonal top with a conforming holly line above a single mahogany lined drawer and a solid pull out green pleated silk sewing bag. There are two secret compartments on either side which are released by a brass button catch underneath, revealing sectioned and lidded compartments.

The whole is raised on well turned ring turned legs, terminating in original brass cup castors, with the holly lines continuing on the back and frieze. It is fitted with a lock and key, can also be used as an occasional side table, and has a good colour and patination.
