S/2510 Antique Treen 19th Century Fruitwood Cotton dispenser

A finely made fruitwood cotton dispenser, having a removable domed top with a turned finial. It has a well turned base that has a tall vertical spike for a cotton reel. There is a small hole in the side for the cotton to pass through and when pulled the cotton reel would revolve on the metal spike. The whole has a good colour and patination.
