S/2559 Antique Treen 19th Cenrtury Boxwood Snuff Box

A most unusual octagonal boxwood snuff box having rounded ends. To open you twist and pull as there is a locking mechanism which holds it in place when in the pocket, denoted by a small bone stud. The whole has a lovely honey colour and patination.
