S/2755 Antique 18th Century Bronze Mortar

A lovely small bronze 18th century mortar, cast with the verse 'SOLI DEO GLORIA' - Glory to God Alone. One of the five Solas of the Reformation and dated 1737. It has extensive ring turning and fine original colour and patination.
