S/2733 Antique Treen 18th Century Iron Spiral Candlestick

A good late 18th century example of an iron spiral candlestick, with a hook and curled traveller to adjust the height of the candle, standing on a well turned and stepped circular ash base, that has a lovely rich colour and patination. The base of the spiral is elongated, which is an unusual feature.
