S/2772 Antique 19th Century Burr Yew Wood Two Division Tea Caddy

A most attractive burr yew wood two division tea caddy of sarcophagus outline, edged with boxwood stringing and raised on brass protruding ball and claw feet. The interior has two yew wood lidded compartments with bone knob handles, original brass stop hinges, and bone diamond escutcheon lock and key. The whole has a rich grain, colour and fine patination.
