S/2816 Antique Treen 19th Century Lignum Vitae String Barrel

A good three section lignum vitae string barrel, having an octagonal base which unscrews, as does the well turned stepped lid which has a raised holed finial for the string. The whole has a good rich colour in both heart and sap wood.
