S/2855 Antique Treen 19th Century Fruitwood Fish Head Knitting Sheath

A tactile fruitwood fish head knitting sheath, having an open mouth and carved line decoration. It has a hole behind the head for the cow band (apron string) and a needle hole on the tail. The whole has a good rich colour and patination.
