S/2993 Antique Treen 19th Century Fruitwood Quaich
A lovely fine quality fruitwood Scottish quaich, having a silver rim, lugs and foot. An old label on the base, which is partially illegible, possibly reads 'place at the ..... such was..... a land AD 1107'. It has slight staining on the interior through use and the mounts are not hallmarked, although we think it is silver. The whole has a lovely honey colour and patination.
