S/2996 Antique Treen 19th Century Mahogany Naughty Novelty Snuff Box

An amusing naughty novelty snuff box in the form of a mahogany coffin, having a top with parquetry inlay with a swivel lid to expose the aperture for the snuff. At one end there is a tiny drawer, with a brass pin knob, that when opened reveals inside a small wooden man with face and legs- enough said! The whole has a good rich mahogany colour and patination.
