S/3011 Antique Treen 18th Century Initialled and Dated Beech Apple Corer

A small rare and unusual 18th century beech apple corer of usual form, having a square chip carved body on all sides. It has a carved rose at the top, is initialled R.D. and dated 1788. The whole has a darkish colour and retains a patination, a serious colllector's item.
