S/3101 Antique Treen 19th Century Beech Carved Table Snuff Box

A carved wood Victorian table snuff box, believed to have been carved by a Scottish blind man in Ayrshire, who often carved items relating to the poems by Robert Burns. This snuff box depicts three men carousing on the lid, with the sides carved with dogs and sheep. An extremely interesting and collectable item, which is in good condition and of a pale honey colour retaining a patination.
