S/3132 Antique 19th Century Mahogany Shove Halfpenny Board

A solid mahogany shove halfpenny board of traditional design, with a set of 12 Georgian halfpennies, having a brass semi circular raised gallery to one end. They were often found in inns and public houses for people to pass away the time, or to hold competitions. The whole has a rich colour and retains a patination.
