S/3176 Antique 19th Century Sugar Cleaver
A good shaped steel bladed sugar cleaver, having a brass collar and a well turned fruitwood handle with incised line decoration. The steel blade continues through the handle to the end for added strength, and terminates within a small conical brass finial. The whole has a good rich colour and patination.
