S/3203 Antique Treen 19th Century Fruitwood Puzzle Snuff Shoe

An attractive fruitwood puzzle snuff shoe, having a protruding heal. The swept toe has carved leaf decoration in front of a swivel lid, above a locking and sliding section underneath, which when slid back and swivelled reveals the snuff. The whole has a lovely pale colour and patination.
