S/3249 Antique Treen 19th Century Fruitwood Container

An attractive circular and tapered fruitwood container for coffee beans or similar ingredients, having a domed fitted and stepped lid. It is decorated with sharks teeth transfer, with the base faintly decorated with ferns in the same manner. The base and the lid has pole lathe turnings. The whole has an excellent warm colour and patination.
