S/3285 Antique Treen Early 18th Century Walnut Spice Box

A good early 18th century Georgian circular walnut spice box for a single spice, having an overhanging ring turned central screw lid and raised knob handle. The base is of concave form with an incised line and shallow protruding foot. The underside has circular incised lines. The whole is in lovely crusty patinated condition.
