S/3261 Antique Treen 19th Century Rosewood Spice Container
A good rosewood spice container, having a fitted turned and reeded acorn stopper. The globular body is raised on a double collar and rosewood stem, which is seated on a stepped and rounded base. The whole has a lovely grain, as so often found in rosewood, and a good rich colour and patination.
