S/3377 Antique Treen 19th Century Burr Maple Pocket Snuff Box

A very tactile oval burr maple pocket snuff box, having reeded lines and a hinged lid with a small mother of pearl inlay. The interior is lined with tortoiseshell in the usual manner. The whole has a lovely grain, pale honey colour and good patination.
