S/3456 Antique 19th Century Carpet Layer's Stretcher

An interesting Victorian carpet layer's stretcher, having a metal toothed end. The fruitwood handle is carved twice with the maker, CWC & SONS, and ends with a large flat ring turned knop. The whole has a good colour and excellent patination.
