S/3533 Antique Treen 19th Century Dutch Gingerbread Mould

An extremely fine Dutch double sided sycamore gingerbread mould, having four well carved panels depicting: a lady lying on a canopied bed; a figure with a ladder up on an orange tree; two figures bringing in the harvest; and finally an extremely detailed lady in a kitchen interior with a water jug, tea pot and framed picture on the wall etc. The side has carved initials PVH and dated 1830. There are traces of old worm holes throughout.
